Making Progress

I published The Ballad of Felina Reyes this summer, and have been working on a new fantasy novel that I finished writing earlier this year. I plan to send it out to Literary Agents, and if I receive no offers of representation, then I expect to release the book sometime around the mid to end of October. I have another series I want to work on next, the first book is already written, but requires heavy editing and rewrites, and I am currently juggling the idea of cutting a couple of POVs to save them for book two to try and squeeze beneath the 100k word count (currently it sits around 140k words). After that's complete. I hope to spend the rest of 2025 finish a project I already started, but it only sits around 8k words at the moment, and is currently on hold until I finish the edits on these next two novels.

I appreciate all the support you all have shown me, and have plans for another three or four novels in 2026, hoping either this or next year will be the one that snags me an agent. I wish I had more news on that front, but sadly the requests I've had from literary agents have returned with rejections.

I hope the rest of the year is fruitful, and I'll post again when I am nearing publication of my newest fantasy novel.

Best,

Ken Snyder
